GKS Connect is an app to receive and log back data to the MIS system GKS4. New orders is fetched with a payload from a webhook that GKS is sending. New orders will be split in different job parts in Switch. Switch can then report back different status to GKS such as Preflight, Reviewlinks, Approval status and if job arrives or is present.
Compatibility
Enfocus Switch 2024 spring and higher. Metadata module is required. Mac and Windows. GKS4 or higher. Compatibility third-party applications GKS Connect only works with GKS4 or higher. Read more on https://www.simutek.se where you find information on English, Swedish and Norwegian.
Connections
GKS Connect requires at least one incoming connection. The outgoing connect is a traffic light where you can choose between success, warning and error. This stages routes the job depending on status of the process in the app.
Properties
Detailed info You can use GKS Connect in Switch for different stages in GKS. Depending on if you have a new job/order or if you wants to log back data, you have different properties to use.
Flow elements properties
GKS server
- IP address to GKS4 server (https://yourserver.domain)
Client ID
- Your Client ID credentials from GKS
Client secret
- Your Client secret credentials from GKS
Action - Choose the type of action you want to use for the job
- New: Used for reading a webhook from GKS
- Preflight: Used for logging preflight data as errors and warnings back to GKS
- Softproof: Used for logging Review status back as approved or not approved
- Reviewlink: Used for logging the Review-link and that it has been send in GKS
- Job arrived: Used when to log that a job is present in GKS
Rename (only if Action New is selected)
- rename the webhook-file to new name.
Error count (only if Action Preflight is selected)
- Logs number of errors in preflight report
Warning count (only if Action Preflight is selected)
- Log number of warning in preflight report
Product ID
- The product id that comes with the order from GKS. Could be fetched from the dataset gks created from the webhook
Printpart ID
- The printpart id that comes with the order from GKS. Could be fetched from the dataset gks created from the webhook
Process state
- Different states in GKS; New, Ready, Started, Paused, Completed
Job comment
- A comment to the job that can be logged to GKS. This could be Preflight report, No comment, comments from Review and so on.
Job URL
- This can be used to log where the job is or a URL for a Reviewlink.
State of approval
- A status for GKS: Approved, Approved with comments or Rejected
